Woke up to a sunny 100 degrees. Breakfast with crew, saw lots of old BW friends. Runner check in at furnace creek inn, Marshall gave us each a signed copy of his book. I saw my friends Bob Becker, Don Meyer, and later Steph and I went for an early lunch, and Ben Jones found us and sat down with us. Ben said he was on coroner's call for the county this weekend. Speaking of coroners, Nathan surprised the crew with this special gift, decorated by my niece Jenny, the 14 year old future pathologist, with the puke free zone logo in glitter.
