I will have to check out your Wyoming run one of these days when I have more time to travel for my runs. Good luck with training!Alene Gone Badhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09887360033395271217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5614641499256174127.post-17815044937423643872010-06-29T16:40:47.475-06:002010-06-29T16:40:47.475-06:00Hiya Alene,

I'm sure we've run into similar folks and maybe similar events, I run with the FC Trailrunners occasionally. Also, my wife, Jessica, works for CanDo/PVH Foundation, so you might run into her sometime.

Anyway, I see you're signed up for Lean Horse, cool! That was my first 50 a couple years ago and I'm strongly thinking about the 100 this year, if my training goes well. Anyway, I found a secret spot that's the *perfect* training location. It's a couple hours away, in Wyoming...it's absolutely gorgeous, has the same surface and terrain as the Mickelson Trail in LH, and it's certainly buffalo-friendly, all the while at a higher elevation (9k feet). Yeah, it's a drive, but it's worth it for a nice full-day workout.
