The Most Interesting Dog in the World...

This week has been a most interesting one.

I'm looking forward to the trip to Arizona, even if it is a short trip.

My wicked work hangover didn't stop me from having two good workouts this week so far. I got 15 on hills Monday and then about 17 today, including a 6 mile tempo run with Wheaties Boy. He loves his new job at Pearl Izumi. The past few weeks it's been hard to find a time to run together with his job transition, but things are finally working out. We didn't push too hard tonight, and we shortened the distance, ran about 8:15 pace, trying to save some for Saturday's race.

Wheaties Boy wanted to know how fast I'd run the 50K, and I have no idea. I'm nowhere near as fast as I was 10 years ago when I was running 3:15-3:20 marathons and ran Pemberton in 4:23, my best time on the course. But whatever I do this year at Pemberton, I intend to run it hard. I want a good hard training run before Delano Park.

Thursday I'll hit the track, and I get two days off from running this week because I work all day tomorrow, and then Friday I'll be traveling and won't have time.

I've been wanting to make this video of the dogs and finally got around to it. I hope you enjoy it, I had fun making it.
